Activesync exchange server calender wont sync

Hi,
I have recently setup a front exchange server 2003, everything works ok and i have an SSL certificate from comodo which works perfectly, the issue i have is when i sync mobile devices, they pickup emails and contacts but will not sync calender appointments, if you add to the device it syncs back to the exchange server but not the other way round?, i have tested on 2 HTC devices with 6.5 and 6.1 and also an iphone, same results?
