Can't connect Windows Tablet PC to VPN

I have been trying to connect a user's Windows Tablet PC to our VPN. Using PPTP it says registering computer and just freezes there. I can connect via laptop through the same modem router with no issues. Is there something lacking in the Windows Tablet PC edition that is stopping this connection?
