Question
Microsoft, Vista, Ultimate French 32 bit, Windows could not assign a drive letter to a partition on disk 0. The spcified partition does not exist on the target disk. The error occured while preparing
Hi experts,
Im trying to install Vista on a new PC ( Intel DQ35JOE, core 2 duo ,2 gig ram, 250 seagate disk)
I go trough all the step like langugae (french) and cd -key (vista ultimate 32 bit)
and then when i get to the scrren where you select the Hard drive and i can see my hard drive and i can select it but when the install start it is stuck a 0 % and after 5 -10 min it gives me this message
Windows could not assign a drive letter to a partition on disk 0. The spcified partition does not exist on the target disk. The error occured while preparing the partition selected for installation. Error code: 0x80300002
Ive checked connection to hrad drive. trying with another hard drive as im writing this.
Any thougts ?
