How do I network my Vista Machine to an existing XP Network

I would like to network my new Vista machine with my other XP machines on my network.
I am interested in File and Printer Sharing.

Currently, I have the internet working on the Vista machine but don't know how to get printer and file sharing.

Is there an instruction guide for this?

Thanks.

From that last link, the basic technique is as follows >

"Printer Sharing on XP/Vista Network":

Go to Control Panel. Choose printer. Then choose Add Printer.

Choose Add a local printer. Click on Create a new port. The default in the drop down box is Local Port. Do not change that. Click Next.

A dialogue box will appear asking for you to enter a port name. Type in the \\computer name\printer name ie. My computer's name is basement and the printer name is EpsonSty so I typed in \\basement\epsonsty

you're overthinking this.  Simply share the files, as well as the printer on the Vista machine (provided you want to share Vista resources).  Or simply connect to the XP machines which you want resources from and connect to them (provided they have sharing enabled.
