Question

Cannot recognize DVD drive in laptop. Get code 10 error looking for device driver which doesn't exist

Have a Slimtype DVD A DS8A1H ATA Drive in a HP Pavilion DV9334 laptop. Get an explanation mark in the Device Manager. Running Windows Vista. Get an error message. This device cannot start (Code 10). Tried finding device drivers for this device on the HP website and internet to no avail. Even tried another drive and same problem. THis drive is Optiarc DVD RW AD-7503A ATA Drive. Tried Reg-cure to fix it an it doesn't. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
