Question

Vista machine keeps blue screening "Win32k.sys" while running XP on Virtual PC

Recently setup testing environment on Vista using Virtual PC 2007 and running test client of XP.
Upon Windows XP booting I removed CDrom, system kept running then Vista blew up.

Any thoughts on this, I am not able to resolve thus far.
I was runnning image off Cdrom to install.

I accepted Virtual PC default the whole way through.

I would try running the System File Checker on your VISTA OS.

Get your Vista installation DVD then run SFC /SCANNOW

When prompted (if prompted) insert your Vista Install DVD and let it repair your Vista installation.

Just add is it possible to perform a system restore?
can you boot to safemode?
Vista repair options safemode options last known good configuration etc etc
