Map network drive on a shared Vista folder not working.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and trying to share out a folder called C:\dat.  I did right-click and shared out the folder successfully.  Now when I go into Network - and right-click on dat - to Map Network Drive - to an I:\ - it goes for awhile and then gives me an error:
Network error - Windows cannot access \\LM1530\dat  Check the spelling of the name.  Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network.

How may I make this folder share properly?  I do have McAfee Security Center on but I don't think that's the cause as to why its not allowing the connection.  I'm sure its a Vista setting that I need to allow - correct?
