No, I get an error message "Windows can't find 'cleanmgr.exe'...
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI am trying to free up space on the system drive on my Small Business Server 2008 machine. There are two folders that each contain about 10 GB, Windows.old and Windows.old.001. I assume it is safe to remove these folders because the system is running fine. I read in the help that I should use disk cleanup to do it properly. The help had a link to disk clean up but it doesn't open anything. Disk cleanup does not exist in the in the system tools folder either. I am logged in using my usual administrator account that I use to make system changes, etc. Where should it reside if not in system tools? How can I delete those old windows folders?
