Cannot install adome flash player in my vista box

When I go into a site ie asks me ithe page says it needs to install adobe flash player and asks if I want to install the activex.
I say yes and ia windows appeeas to the same effect and I say continue. From then on I get the same screen with the continue option. It never gets installed.

Is there a way install it directrly?

1. Close IE.
2. Right click on the shortcut you use to launch IE and select "Run as Administrator" from the context menu that appears.
3. Proceed to the site you are trying to view and install Acrobat Reader in the same way you attempted previously.

Hi guys. Problem is my vista is 64 bista nad ie also 64 bits and flash player works only in 32 bits

You can use IE 32bit on your 64bit system. It should already be installed. Go to Start>All Programs>Internet Explorer

Using IE 32-bit works. I have been using Flash during the past year that I have been using 64-bit, so cwhess is correct. ... Thinkpads_User

I use 32bit IE8 every day on my HP 64bit Vista laptop, flash works fine.
