run as administrator box is greyed out
I am using a user that is an administrator
I am running PhoneProgram on windows vista and it crashes
on xp it works
1. Right click on the PhoneProgram application shortcut.
2. Select Properties from the menu.
3. Click the compatibility tab at the top.
4. Select the "Run as Administrator" box.
5. Also select "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and from the drop-down select Windows XP.
6. Click "Apply" in the lower right corner.

Do you have User Account Control turned off? If so, then Run as Administrator will be greyed out.

yes user account control is off
but isnt user account control just a nag dialog box
does this mean that i can not run programs as "administrator"
