Asked by dadgumit in Microsoft Server, Windows Vista
Hello,
We have a software database program installed on our server which operates on Windows Server 2003. The server also stores the information.
I have the same software program installed on a Windows Vista PC which accesses the database on our server.
We have no problems making this connection at the office since both machines are on the same network.
However, I want to allow my software program to access the server from outside of the network, say at another office branch.
How do we set this up on both the server and PC?
Thanks.
