DHCP gone wrong

There is a user who works with a laptop (Windows XP Professional) from two locations - home and office.

In the office the IP address is assigned by DHCP - and all works well.

At home there is a cable internet connection - the laptop is assigned a different IP address, gateway, etc using DHCP.

The IP address range, gateway, etc is different for both networks.

When the user is in the office after using the laptop at home, his computer still has the DHCP settings from home... instead of the office settings. Obviously, the network won't work when this happens.

In the office, when I manually disable the network connection and then enable it again, it will get the proper settings from the office DHCP server. But it should be doing this automatically...

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
