I suppose it is a company laptop? it is possible that you are not administrator of the machine (which is stupid but it exists in some companies, so in mine;). so you only have a user account on the domain.
can you login in safe mode? if so put your lt in a workgroup with the name of your companys domain. you should get it back into the domain then. can you logon to your user account at work? I understood that you cannot, so all in all only an admin can get you back into the domain. you are better off, leaving your lt in the companys domain and create a workgroup at home that has the same name as your companies domain.
