Disabling Auto-Dial prompt.

Method 1:
Right click the My computer icon (Desktop), open Manage/Services and Applications/Services. In the right pane scroll down to Remote Accces Auto Connection Manager and double click it. Use the Startup
type drop box and choose Disabled.

It could be that you have something running on the Windows XP boot up that you do not have on the ME one that is attempting to connect to the internet. This could be Kazaa or MSN Messenger. To check this goto Start, Run and type "msconfig" in and press "OK". Goto the start-up tab and see if you can recognise anything in there that may use the internet to run. If unsure, uncheck everything except you're anti-virus software, apply and reboot.
