I have a XP Pro machine. i was able to open the .chm extension help files
but now i cannot do that now.
what should i do to open that kind of files again...

Recently, with the release of several security patches for Windows XP and Internet Explorer, the .CHM files have been added to the "Unsafe File List" and patched to prevent you from inadvertantly opening them and then damaging your system.

Hello everyone,
I also have this problem, but a little bit difference.
I was able to open all .chm files, but now I can open only some files, some files that I was able to open show
"The page cannot be displayed"
and I tested by send those problem files to my friends, they can open.
I don't know why this happen
My O.S. is win XP pro
