rundll32.exe using 99% of CPU in task manager

I have a computer which _was_ riddled with viruses, trojans, adware - you name it. Ran Norton antivirus to detect and remove viruses and used adaware to get rid of the adware etc.

The computer seems to be working fine except for one problem. After it is restarted in runs incredibly slowly. When I look in the task manager it shows that rundll32.exe 's cpu usage is 99% . If I end task on it the computer seems to run OK.

Does anyone know how I can sort this out?
