script for checking installation software

I need a script for scanning the registry for installed software and then write the output to a file with the following information:

1. ID of the PC
2. The names of all installed software with its version number

Since nobody replies, the question is changed slightly as follows:


I need a script for scanning a WinXP PC for installed softwares and then write the output to a file with the following information:

1. ID of the PC
2. The names of all installed software with its version number

Can this be performed easily? If not, is there a way to print the list of installed program displayed for selecting ''add/remove program'' in the control panel. No, I am not talking about using ''print screen''. Is there a better way so that the list can be written into a file?
