Can anyone tell me how to open a .wps file.
I have Windows XP and Microsoft Word.
My browser is Internet Explorer.

How do I convert my file from Corel Word Perfect to Microsoft Word? • First, open Microsoft Word so that the application is running. • From the MS Word File menu select Open. • When you select Open from the File menu, the Open window will appear.
• Using the "Look in:" drop-down menu, navigate to the folder that contains your Word Perfect file. • Ensure that All Files is selected in the "Files of type:" drop-down menu. • Double-click on the Word Perfect file that you wish to convert. • Microsoft Word will do the conversion from Word Perfect for you. • After your file is converted, you may find it necessary to redo the files formatting (fonts, paragraph styles, etc.) If your files are not converting correctly. . . • Try opening both applications Word and Word Perfect. • Open your Word Perfect file in Word Perfect. • Select the entire file in Word Perfect. • Copy the contents of the file. • Switch to Microsoft Word. • Paste the contents into MS Word. Before I accept an answer I want to increase the number of points. Unfortunately, I clicked on Split Points first and now don't know how to increase points. I want to award steven lewis 125 points, bartender1 100 points and lr141 75 points.
How do I do it?

Can I split the points?


Yes. Scroll down to the bottom of the question, just above the text box, and click the "Split Points" link. Select the radio button of the comment who you want to Accept as the Accepted Answer. Only one button can be selected. Set the point value (a text box above the comment) of how much you want this person to receive of the points. Then set the point values for each of the experts comments to whom you want to allocate points and these will be considered Assisted Answers in helping you resolve the issue. Double check your information and then click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. One note: the total points of the splits must equal the amount you asked the question for itself, and no person can receive fewer than 20 points.




Note: 500 points is the max value you can post, and this Q is set to that
