STOP-Error: Unmountable_Boot_Device
Hi Experts !
I have a little problem with a XP-Home (Its a PC from a friend, so i unfortunately do not know the Servicepack/Hotfix-level).
Unmountable_Boot_Volume
STOP: 0x000000ED (0x827A68E8,0xC0000006,0x0
I have tried the following:
1. booted in safe mode -> BlueScreen
2. started with last known good -> BlueScreen
3. started with Recovery-Console and made a chkdsk /r -> after Reboot: BlueScreen
4. started with Recovery-Console and made a fixboot -> after Reboot: BlueScreen
5. "dir" in Recovery-Console stops with an error
there is no backup present, and there is important data on the HD...
Does anybody have any suggestions for me ?
