Question

error "Attempt to access invalid address" on many .exe files

I have notebook that has had and repaired a number of viruses.  However, even though it is reporting clean after several different scans whenever I try to run most .exe applications it reports the error "Attempt to access invalid address".  I have tried the programme in  safe mode and it works.  Any suggestions?
