>> Is there a fix for this, or do i just have to wait for SP2A that will prolly fix all the current issues with SP2 but cause more as usual.
not only u have to wait for SP2A so that it will come with more stability,,,, but u have to also wait for the software and hardware' companies, u are using currently, to come with their updated software\drivers\patches so that they can be compatible with SP2....
There is an interesting article which u shud read >> http://www.pcworld.com/new
The purpose of telling u abt this article, is that there are many many software companies at present which have not yet managed to upadte their softwares to work with SP2.... and that's the reason many people using SP2 are having problems !!
At persent Microsoft and other software companies are working to do many changes so that MS SP2 and other comapnies softwares can work with each other..... so at present if u are having problems with SP2 then it means u are using a software or hardware\drivers which are not yet compatible with XP SP2.... and u need to wait for wait for sometime until SP2 and all other softwares and drivers can become stable with each other :)

Try uninstalling your Linksys card (and software), rebooting, then re-installing it. In some cases, the SP2 has damaged some network devices and drivers during the install.
