There are two things you might want to check:
1) Permissions on your local directory and
2) Probably more important - they might have included the same protections enabled by default in SP2 IIS that they do in Windows 2003 server. Check that you are "allowed" to run various apps / pages. From Microsoft:
1. Open the Internet Services Manager in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
2. Right-click on your Default Web Site and select Properties.
3. Click the Home Directory tab.
4. Click the Configuration button.
5. Click the App Options tab.
6. Click to select the features you'd like to enable.
7. Click the OK button until you return to the MMC.
