Try a system restore, I dont think the temp files will come back. See if that fixes things, if not then I recomend you do a scan disk, just type CHKDSK in the start/run box.

what's the error you get gianitoo..... the error will clear the problem for us..... may be its related to your windows installer service pro program and you are requried to repair or reinstall it...... but it all depends on the error\reason why you cannot uninstall...... means when you hit uninstall..... what does it do exactly ??

Try the followings first and then take some other action.
1. Boot in Safe Mode.. Does it happen when you boot in Safe Mode ?
2. Boot in Last Known Good Configuration.....what results if you boot in this mode ?
3. Run SFC /SCANNOW from Safe Mode if you can boot properly from this mode.
If it is working properly in Safe mode then there is a solution for this......
