windows XP back space ,leftarrow ,and delete key acting weird

Ok so this is what is happening

HP laptop ZD7000
problem 1
customer is haveing these problems when useing word and outlook

back space key replaces all characters includeing empty spaces with lower case (c)

same issue with left arrow key and delete key

problem 2
windows explorer
when customer selects 1 icon or folder multiple folders are highlited
he is not holding down shift or ctrl

problem 3
audio control
when playing music or anny media files, audio controls will not stay up at full volume
it automaticly drops down to zero
not muted
advanced controls act same way

now these are the symptons the customer gave me over the phone he is bringing it in to me TM anny ideas for befor it gets here?
