Browse All TopicsI've encountered this problem only after installing SP2 on my PC. The only program this is really affecting is EastBay Technologies "CTube!" The program opens up fine but when I try to view a channel I get the error "Your Current Security Settings Prohibit Running ActiveX Controls On this Page. As A Result The Page May Not Display Correctly". I've uninstalled both Norton Systemworks & ZoneLabs Security Suite & still get the same error message. I've gone into Windows (SP2) Security Settings & disabled all. I've gone into "Internet Options" Security settings & enabled ActiveX settings. I'm running the latest Sun Java.
I may occassionally see this error message opening an e-mail "Incredimail" but it doesn't affect the display. In CTube! when I try to view a channel I receive the above error & then a blank screen. I've contacted EastBayTechnologies & they're as baffled as I am. I'd swear that the problem lies w/XP SP2 Security but can't find any other settings to change. Please HELP!!
Many thanks to all who attempt this solution, Gary.
