When i start the pc it goes through all the necessary checks and lets me select an operating system but before it loads up i get an error message "This Application failed to load wldap.dll was not found. reinstalling this application may fix the problem" and when i press the ok button the computer just freezes. i have also tried to boot into safe mode but the samething happens.
how do i sort this out?

Here we go again SystmProg. Why can't you explain the procedure involved to do what you advised. Do not expect any questioner to return with followups. I am not saying that granite03 will not return but don't get in habit of expeting a questioner to return. If you have a fix that you think might work than post it don't be vague just post it.
Umm if we don't watch others comments then what kind of site do we have. We are each others watch dog here. If you don't like that than I am sorry. If one professes to be an expert then prove it. Show us what one has got, this is experts-exchange after all and the questioner deserves the best we can give and you are not doing that and I think you know it. Just post what you think the answer is then ask the questions. As far as this site goes, right or wrong, the answer is the most important thing and then asking question of the questioner.
I agree with you CrazyOne but i want to ask you one thing. Do you have answer for this thread ? and i can't post answers on assumptions because i'm pratical in every case. Please see this for your confirmation: -
You say: - Questioner does not follow......see here if they are in need they do so: -

Wldap.dll is the module used by LDAP protocol to retreive object information from AD. You can extract this file from Windows CD and then copying back to \Windows\System32 directory using the recovery console. Did you try this ?
