The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

*sign* this is probably the fifth time i am posting a problem about video card issue. my video card constantly give me problems. sometime when turn on ,the cpu "screamed" with a high pitch voice after which my monitor which is supposed to display the image had turn totally black. furthermore the little button on my monitor indicated that it is in power saving mode (this mode is only engaged when cpu is not on) how am i gona solve this problem? and the blue screen problems usually are stop error 0x000000A irql not less or equal or stop error 0x0000008E or stop error 0x000000D1 and a lot more. Just want to comfirm that it is the video card issue because i am afraid it will turn to be the motherboard issue (video slot) i only have 1 video slot i cant spoil it because that would me i have to replace the motherboard. My previous card is nivade geforce 4 (great card) it gave me series of problem after 3 years so i changed the card to radeon 7000 (two weeks later) problem arise more severe this time the pc don't even make any noise but the montior just don't display any single thing. i know i don't have a cooling fan until recently i brought but i think it is too late the video card had already have a high fever and died! no matter how much wind is blow in the video card will still give me problem now i am typing this any minute it will break down so you solution will be honoured! thanks
