Installing software from the hard drive

Hello,

Can you tell me how to install software that is backed up on the hard drive.

I am paralyzed and therefore cannot put a CD in a disk drive myself. Therefore, whenever I purchase new software, I have to ask someone else to load the installation CD. Rather than making a backup copy on a blank CD, I just copy all of the files on the installation CD to a folder on my hard drive.

Now I am wondering if it is possible to install software directly from the hard drive. If you could give me some suggestions on how to do this I would appreciate it.
