Browse All TopicsHi all, i am helping a friend with a pc. he uses dialup internet and when he dials in, after about 2 minutes, explorer.exe takes up 99% of the cpu and ofcourse the machine runs sloowwwly. if i end the process and restart it again it is fixed for only a short time. i have brought the machine home and plugged it into my broadband and it works fine. i have read ee and have taken the liberty of running hijackthis and included the log file here. could someone please examine the log and advise me of what can fix this problem.
