How to change root I : back to C:

Hello xp experts,

I am trying to install my banking software,
problem my banking software needs the disk C: to install
the program, not possible to install it on another drive letter.

But my root is I en second partition is J:
I have no drive C:

Is there possibillity to change this I back into C:

You're help is very appreciated.

maybe this could help...
start -> run -> compmgmt.msc -> disk management -> right click on a partition -> change drive letter and paths...

This can happen when XP is installed and a removeable drive is attached to the motherboard ( ZIP or Flash) . . while it is possible to change the drive assignments of a boot drive . . it is not without risks.  One way to resolve the problem is to reinstall XP with the removable drives disconnected
