Slow log on

Hi

Is there a way to log the start time for each process being started during log on to Windows XP Pro V2002 SP2? When I log on as userA it crawls but when I log on as userB no problem.

I am not sure about how to log that, but this problem is usually caused by profile size, and reducing it should solve the problem.  Good solutions to this are changing the My Documents location to a server on the network, and clearing out any junk in the profile you can find.

Startup programs are of course also a concern - check the 'startup' folder in the start menu, and the startup items in 'msconfig'.
