Quicktime Browser Plugin Doesnt Load Any Video!

Hi, this is one heck of a problem. I have quicktime's latest version i.e. 7.something and I've been facing a really STRANGE problem for almost a month now. The quicktime videos available online for instance, my favorite www.apple.com/trailers/ doesn't load the trailers anymore, I just get a plain Q icon and thats it. I've tried almost everything I could think of, I did a FULL uninstall/re-install. I've used Firefox, IE7 and Opera, all have the same issues. I've tried to install the QuicktimeAlternative bundle afterwards but to no avail.

Please let me know how to fix this BESIDES a Windows format, I'd happily remove Quicktime again if thats the way to fix it. I miss the trailers :P
