No remove button in Add / Remove Programs

I am trying to remove the Adobe Acrobat 7 trial and the Palm One Desktop software.  In both cases when I go to Add / Remove programs, the program exists, but the "Remove" or the "Change / Remoe" button doesn't exist.

Any suggestions as to why this occurs, and what can be done to remove these programs?

Thanks!

Is this Palm for xp or MAc windows?
Well we have had folks come in and ask a question and then discover later it was not even for windows xp even though this is xp forum.
On the Mac it states to use the cd.

Uninstalling Palm Desktop from Windows XP
PocketMirror is third-party software, included on the CD with some Palm products, that lets you synchronize with Microsoft Outlook

If more than one user has PocketMirror installed and one of those users uninstalls PocketMirror, it will be uninstalled for all users. All users lose PocketMirror functionality when this happens. Each user needs to reinstall PocketMirror: From the Windows Start menu choose Programs, then Palm or Handspring, then Outlook Conduit Install. Ensure that you have installation rights before installing any software under Windows XP.
