I just rebuild a Windows XP PC from bare metal.  

I wanted to set the user for auto login, so I ran CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 to get to the User Accounts dialog.

It's missing a line!

The checkbox and words 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer' are not there!  The rest of the box is fine, and works normally.

It fails the same on a domain, logged on locally, or in safe mode.  No Event log errors.  What's up here??Start Free Trial
