This solution is only available to members.
To access this solution, you must be a member of Experts Exchange.
You can also use WinDiff to view changes between two different files.
Example:
Export your registry.
- Make any changes such as display settings.
- Export registry again naming it a different filename.
- Bring up Windiff.exe and select file/compare files
- Open up first registry file, then open up 2nd registry file.
- Click on expand in the top right corner. Anything that is highlighed is what was changed during
the 1st and 2nd export of the file.

I believe that the solution provided will yield me the easist result. I have used the application for deploying software packages so I will try it with display settings.
