I'm trying to copy files from my laptop HD to my desktop to re-install Windows XP Home. <br />

I'm trying to copy files from my laptop HD to my desktop to re-install Windows XP Home.

Now, when trying to copy files I get the message "Access is denied" Make sure the disk is not write protected and that the file is not currently in use.
