It seems though that in my testing, once the focus is removed trom the treeview, the background color reverts to the form background color. I did not have much time to test, and may have overlooked something.

treeview selected item with hideselection = false defaults to form backcolor
I am using a TreeView control in a Visual Basic 6.0 program. I set the Treeview.HideSelection = False
This will keep my treeview selection highlighted when I click into a text box control or any other control on the form. The problem is the background color of the treeview selection is the same color as the form background color. Is there a way to set the background color for the selected treeview item different than the form background color?
