hi guys.
i've got an odd issue w/ my xp pro install. when i'm running my machine at home my disk usage is normal (down when it should be and up when writing) however when i'm at work my disk usage shoots up to minimum 58% and doesn't go lower then that all day.
maybe its shared folders?
i took the LAN cable out figuring it would go down but no. still 58% minimum.
anyone know what might be going on? would windows continue to search for the shared folders after i take the lan out? shared folders might not be it but its the only difference in locations besides conn speed.
thanks,

Hi,
Use SpaceMonger at home : save a screenshot using Ctrl+Print screen + paste in mspaint and do the same at work.
SpaceMonger shows graphically and in a very clear way where disk usage is being spent.
This way, you will know for sure where your disk space difference is coming from :
You can find SpaceMonger here.
