Hi
You could also ask a friend that has a copy of the Windows XP Home Edition CD to lend it and then use it with your CD key to Format and install a fresh copy of Windows.
The only problem with this is that you will have to reinstall the missing drivers from the Toshiba site and any other software that it might have had like CD recording etc..
But because you are selling it it only needs minimal software only Drivers and Recording /DVD playing software is needed as the new owner will install all the other programs such as Antivirus ,Word processing etc.
The only real problem is that the new owner will need an operating CD if he ever wants to Format his PC.
Unless you make a copy of your friends Windows CD and give it to the new owner.
Hope this Helps

you have to contact Toshiba Support staff, and they will send you a recovery cd, otherise you have to buy a new xp installation cd with a new product key.
