Browse All Topicsi tried everything with this offline file thing. even with a map drive. i want to work my documents and all the folders within it to work off line.
i shared and set offline files attributes, but still will not update. its shows and i even pointed it to the server drive for the info. still will not work. i get only two files and no more. i have at leaste 40 files in this folder.

Have you checked the setting for available hard disk space? Offline folder synchronization has its own setting, and if it is set too high, will not synchronize all files.
Also, offline file synchronization, is, in general, one of the most problematic parts of Windows XP. A google search turns up thousands of users who are much less than satisfied. You might try a third party file synchronization tool, since Microsoft does not seem to support this feature very well. Good luck!
