- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Experts,
The problem is that my pc will not start Windows. This is what happens:
1. The hard disks are recognised by the bios - they show up on-screen and are 'seen' in the bios set up.
2. The boot procedure continues and the Win XP blue progess indicator moves across the screen as if it is doing something useful
3. The screen then goes blank (normal at this stage of start up), the keyboard and mouse switche off and the machine starts to re-boot all by itself.
What have I got to do to get it working again?
Please don't expect a fast response from me as I am using my daughter's Apple for this question and she needs to use it herself. So I'll look in when I can - hopefully later today.
