how do i reinstall printer

Asked by ljw1953 in Windows XP Operating System, Printers & Scanners, .NET Framework 2.0

when trying to reinstall my lexmark x4550 printer the message 'printer application has encountered a problem and needs to close, we apologise for the iconvenience' also I have two microsoft updates relating to net framework 2.00 which will not install, they already appear to have previously installed. I am using a Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows XP operating system.  The printer was previously installed with no problemsStart Free Trial
