Folder options in WninXP

In winXP the folder options from wndows explorer tools is removed so I can not change file extension display hide/unhide folders/file. How to retrieve. Thanks

this is usually caused by virus check here for removal

regedit is blocked by virus. Downloaded inf file and installed to reset regedit. but still regedit does not work. Task manager is also disabled by virus. I use AVG 7.5 free edition. Please help.

there is a download onthis site

which shoudl give you back your options. once you have used it delete the tool, update your virus definitions and perform full scan

I used Spybot -search & Destroy 1.4 which corrected all the problems in registry. My computer is working fine. I use avg 7.5. Thanks
