Is there a way to prevent users from using the built-in Microsoft file compression property

Is there a way either by registry setting or group policy that you can prevent an end user from:
(1) using/setting the built-in Microsoft Advanced File property setting to "Compress Contents to save disk Space" and;
(2) Notify and/or prevent the end user from copying microsoft compressed files to their local hard drive

We would like to use EFS encryption but MS knowlegebase indicates that you cannot encrypt compressed files and vice versa.  Unfortunately, not much help from them on how to address the issue.  Thanks in advance to contributorsStart Free Trial
