Logon failure: the target account name is incorrect

Hi!

Suddenly this morning a workstation on the network won't talk to just about every share on the network.  For example, the server 'www1' just disappeared from network places.  When trying to go there manyally '\\www1\, XP returns the above error.  I can ping its DNS servers by name, nslookups work fine, netbios seems to be registered properly... there's 7 servers on the network and the only one he can access is the Exchange server.  He's logged in as the network administrator as am I.  I can see/do everything but suddenly he cannot.

Any ideas?  Everything I've looked at seems just fine.

Have you tried taking off from Domain and rejoining?

Sometimes for whatever reason the workstation will kick itself off of the domain.  It still shows and registers as in the domain but it cannot see the resources.  
You want to:
1. Unjoin the workstation from the domain.
2. Reboot.
3. Remove the name from AD (usually under Computers).
4. Rejoin ot to the domain and reboot.

Then after login check to see if it infact is on the domain and check resources.
