How ia a hibernate boot accomplished? Is the logic in the bios or on disk?

I need to find a way to force a machine to always do a hibernate restart after any type of shutdown for every shutdown.

Where would this be accomplished, in the bios or in boot logic on the hard drive?

I am particulary interested for the IBM NetVista 6567 motherboard.Start Free Trial
