Intermittent crash during windows boot-up

Hi,
I've been experiencing a intermittent windows boot-up failure. The error message seems very familiar upon checking the web but unfortunately there seems to be thousands of ways of really determining the cause and fix of the problem. Here is the error message...

Error code 0000007f, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.

I tried memtest and it succesfully passed on two runs. By the way, my system is...
