Setup was unable to start service tabsrv of the following error

Setup was unable to start service tabsrv of the following error:
OpenService (tabsrv) returned error 1060(424)

This is what I get after running sysprep on my newly built machine.  I have no idea what to do to get around it.  I have 6 more machines to build....

What do you think?  What does this mean?  Is it salvagable?

I have seen that one yes, but it doesn't really talk about the scenario I experience.  I don't get to a logon screen.  Windows tries to load and then fails with the error message.  I am wondering if I should insert the install disk and try a repair?

Are you trying to use an old hard drive with data on it? If so, make sure its formatted. Next option is to read the motherboard manual and see if there is a jumper setting you have to change before the install. It is rare anymore, but it does happen. If that doesn't resolve, reset the motherboard BIOS either via a jumper or pulling the battery for 5-10 minutes. This may shake it loose, but other than that, I have given you what I know. It is not something that I have encountered in the past. Sorry

tabsrv is not a microsoft service.. stop or disable it before running sysprep

tabsrv cannot be found on this machine?  It is a desktop as well running the regular XP Pro OS, not the tablet version.  I think it is traceable to IE7. I am going to downgrade my IE to 6 and try sysprep again.

turns out sysprep is not the tool to use for this.  We used SIDTool instead and rebuilt the image from scratch.  All is well.  Thanks for all of your good input.
