Change XP Product Key from OEM to Retail Version

Hi Experts,

I have recently re-built a PC with XP Home.

Initially I had problems installing an XP Home Retail version that was pre-service pack (not sure if it was because pre-service pack or damaged disk) - so I used another copy I have that is an XP Home OEM version on SP2.

This has installed OK - but I have realised the Retail version key is the one I should be using. Before I register this copy I need to change the key.

I guess I could attempt to slipstream the original Retail with a service pack - but then I would still have to re-install again.

Does anyone know how to just replace the OEM key with a Retail one?
