i have a computer i am working on that is giving me trouble
im working with 2 desktop computers in a home on a cable modem.
i was installing a linksys wireless router & PCI card for the computer not with the cable modem.
anyways i get everything connected and i notice that the XP computer will not connect to a website using internet explorer. even the linksys cannot find the internet.
so i click on AOL which is what they use and it connects fine????
also, when i do get aol up internet explorer will now browse.
even the other computer is the same way. only AOL will connect.
i looked at the cable modem and its through time warner and the mfg date was 2005.
what happening????
